Continuing a Traineeship with a new Employer

Your State or Territory may have options for you!

Continuing your Traineeship with another Employer
Knowing what your options are is important for your future

A Traineeship can end with an employer for a wide range of reasons.

Everyone's experience and situation is different.

While ACCM College cannot provide any career advice or suggestions for you on how you manage your current traineeship, we do feel it is important to provide information about your options under a training contract and the government services available for you.

If your Traineeship with your current employer ends prior to the completion of your qualification, you may be able to:

Continue your Traineeship with another employer.

In all States and Territories it is possible to transfer a traineeship from one employer to another (although the time frames to do this can vary)

Seek Government Assistance in finding a new Employer

Some States and Territories will provide assistance to you in finding a new employer who is interested in continuing your Traineeship.

Transferring a Traineeship to another Employer

It is possible to continue or transfer your Traineeship with another employer.  However, each State and Territory has their own rules in regards to process and timeframes.

If you are considering this option, you should contact your Australian Apprenticeship Support Services (AASS) Field Officer and explain the specifics of your situation.

These are the individuals who helped complete your Training Contract when you first began your Traineeship.

If you would like their contact details, please contact ACCM College and we will put you in touch with them.
