End of Year External Validation
2022 is coming to a close, but there is time for one last External Validation with the merry RTO elves of Illawarra鈥檚 very own SCAN Network.
Sharon Rich and Chris Czarnosz (our CEO and Director of Training) attended the last validation of the year.
Our focus
The materials we worked on today were our Safety and Manual Handling task, which is a cornerstone of Supply Chain qualifications.
Our focus was to ensure our fellow RTO experts verified that our assessment materials met the intent/purpose of these critical units. As we thought鈥hey agreed we were on the mark!
Sharon and Chris were also able to lend their own expertise to other RTOs as they reviewed their materials. It鈥檚 such a positive and rewarding experience!
What is SCAN?
For anyone who doesn鈥檛 know what SCAN is, we are the South Coast Assessors Network. A group of VET professionals who work together to share knowledge, promote the VET sector and help each other ensure RTOs in the Illawarra exceed the requirements of ASQA
This group of VET experts is led by the amazing Sarah Medezi (our good friend at Early Childhood Development and Professional Development or ECTARC).
